Saint Germain de Confolens 22-23 August, 2026

A quick thank you to all who are reading this and sharing our journeys. I love hearing from you!! Thank you!!

Yesterday we took a rest day which for us constitutes at least 8-10 kms. And I should say a Happy Birthday to William Freeman.

Saturday is market day in Confolens and we have thoroughly enjoyed going as much as we can. We enjoyed a fish and chips at the local chips shop, very delicious. Noël got a haircut. And we got to talk to William on his birthday. All in all a very good day.

Today we had an early morning 6 km hike. After brunch and starting the process of packing (because it’s almost time for that next adventure) we headed out for some hill training. We ended up with another 5 km.

I woke with a feeling of gratitude today. And it has just kept expanding and expounding. I hope that you have a great day too.
