We got this morning and had a nice walk around the castle and beyond. It was a short walk of 4 kms, but we had some nice height meters. It’s still very warm. I think I have mentioned that a few times.
This afternoon we had another house visit. This one was very interesting. But still waiting for that wow factor. The house is quite lovely but the kitchen is way too small. We will keep looking and pondering.
Afterwards we drive to Confolens for a couple of errands. Then we decided to check out the Bastille Day celebrations. It was too early. But the tables are set for a community dinner and the music is gearing up. Supposedly there are fireworks that go off the bridge. But it’s so dry here I doubt there will be any fireworks.
